Today, I Give Myself Grace
Today, I lay down the weight of perfection. I release the need to have it all figured out. I am not behind. I am not failing. I am simply becoming. Today, I breathe a little deeper, move a little slower, speak to myself with kindness, as if I am my own best friend. Today, I give myself permission to rest, to take up space, to be loved without condition, to exist without explanation. Today, I will not be too hard on myself. I will not measure my worth by productivity. I will not shrink under the weight of expectations that were never mine to carry. Today, I give myself grace… grace for the mistakes, grace for the missteps, grace for the days I didn’t feel like enough. Because I am enough. I always have been. And I always will be.

 Who knew choosing or eliminating one or two words in one sentence could be life-changing?
I didn't. Those words resignated deep in my soul when they were spoken to me. I allowed them to not fall on deaf ears but immeditely went to work with them. It was the best thing I could of ever done for myself. It changed my perception and my perception changed my reality of myself. My life began to have color, flavor and love. It utimately made me want to participate in my own life. How about you? Are you ready for a fresh perspective that can change your life? Well, just go to work... Sometimes people treat you less than the wonderful human being that you are. Believe it or not, it's up to you not to allow their negative behavior to control your life any longer!!! If we teach people to treat us the way they do...today is a good day to teach them a new lesson. Teach them to treat you with respect, honor and dignity because that is what you deserve. realize what a gold mine you are, Doesn't mean you shine any less. Just Because no one has been smart enough to figure out that you can't be topped, Doesn't stop you from being the best. Just because no one has come along to share your life, Doesn't mean that day isn't coming. Just because no one has made this race worthwhile, Doesn't give you permission to stop running. Just because no one has realized how much of an awesome woman you are, Doesn't mean they can affect your femininity. Just because no one has shown up who can love you on your level, Doesn't mean you have to sink to theirs. Just because you deserve the very best there is, Doesn't mean that life is always fair. Just because God is still preparing your king, Doesn't mean that you're not already a Queen. Just because your situation doesn't seem to be progressing right now, Doesn't mean you need to change a thing. Keep shining, keep running, keep hoping, and keep praying.
