Today, I lay down the weight of perfection.
I release the need to have it all figured out.
I am not behind. I am not failing.
I am simply becoming.

Today, I breathe a little deeper,
move a little slower,
speak to myself with kindness,
as if I am my own best friend.

Today, I give myself permission to rest,
to take up space,
to be loved without condition,
to exist without explanation.

Today, I will not be too hard on myself.
I will not measure my worth by productivity.
I will not shrink under the weight of expectations
that were never mine to carry.

Today, I give myself grace…
grace for the mistakes,
grace for the missteps,
grace for the days I didn’t feel like enough.

Because I am enough.
I always have been.

Who knew choosing or eliminating one or two words in one sentence could be life-changing?
I didn't.
Those words resignated deep in my soul when they were spoken to me. I allowed them to not fall on deaf ears but immeditely went to work with them.
It was the best thing I could of ever done for myself.
It changed my perception and my perception changed my reality of myself.
My life began to have color, flavor and love. It utimately made me want to participate in my own life.
