I was talking to a woman who felt she was worthless because of the unpleasant things she has experienced in life. Our experiences make us who we are today! Sometimes as women, we fail to realize that the things we have been through as a woman makes the value of our hearts priceless! I have heard it said so many times, "we can be bitter or better." Or as Joyce Meyer says, "We can be pitiful or powerful, but we can't be both!" In the words of former President Bush, "I'm the decider!" You decide. God has a purpose for all those things we have been through.
We are his vessels... Consider the following passage: "Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it. Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying...cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand..." Jeremiah 18:3-6 KJV If you feel you've had a hard life, don't discount your experiences. Take those negative experiences and make them count for something positive. If you feel you've had a good life, reach out and touch another woman. Let us help each other to see the value that we hold. If you are a child of God, open your Bible and agree with what He says about you. After all, your snapshot is very valuable and should be treated as such and you are in good Hands! Let Him transform you... So, what is going to be BITTER OR BETTER; , PITIFUL OR POWERFUL?
